If lunch doesn’t count to you if rice is not involved, then you’d appreciate this fuss-free eatery famed for rice with ulam and assorted lauk (like the legendary giant keli!)

Check out that vibrant, raw goodness! That’s Malay salad at its best =)

But seriously, can their catfish get any bigger? This is at least 2 times bigger than the ikan keli we’re used to back in KL! The meal is not complete, of course, without a substantial serving of budu and tempoyak.

Fried ayam kampung is a favourite here too! Too bad we’d arrived late in the afternoon and most of the lauk were gone already.

So come early, people! We learned that lesson the hard way (okay, that’s half true. We still had an epic meal nonetheless, teehee!).
